About Us

Founder and principal of Ixion Corporation (2001), Robyn FitzRoy (BA, MA, FAICD) is a governance specialist. She works collaboratively to enhance organisational effectiveness through strategy direction and board improvements.

Robyn has a long and distinguished career in the financial services industry and is a former Executive Director of Macquarie Bank where she initiated and run a profitable funds management distribution business. Her career also includes several years in ING (formerly Mercantile Mutual) and roles in London and Edinburgh in IBM and Samuel Montagu merchant bank. She is Non-Executive Director, a chairperson and a member of several director nomination committees.

Robyn is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She lectures on the Company Directors’ Course as well as writing course offerings and leading facilitated workshops on board reporting for major public companies.

Her education includes an MA (UTS); BA (Macquarie), Diploma in Marketing (Macquarie) and Diploma in the Delivery of Information Technology (Harvard University), She has a Certificate of Applied Behavioural Coaching from the Behavioural Coaching Institute, Sydney and is a Master Coach, International Coaching Federation, USA. Robyn is a past winner of Women in Management Achiever of the Year Award.

All assignments, particularly those which require qualitative analysis, data compilation, statistical research and graphing/charting of reports are supported by the services of a trusted and experienced in-sourced team.
